​The Oregon Housing Providers Coalition is a diverse group of housing organizations, businesses, property owners, developers, and community advocates committed to expanding affordable, sustainable, and quality housing across Oregon.

 

Oregon is facing a serious housing shortage, and we believe that increasing housing supply—not restricting it—is the best way to make housing more affordable and accessible for everyone. We advocate for policies that encourage investment in housing production, maintenance, and long-term affordability.

Our Mission

 We work to protect and grow Oregon’s housing capacity by supporting pro-housing solutions that:

 

• Expand new housing development and rental opportunities

• Preserve and maintain existing affordable housing

• Encourage public and private investment in housing

• Promote sensible tenant protections that do not reduce supply or investment in the state

• Support long-term stability for both residents and housing providers

Our Position

We believe that policies that limit investment and restrict housing production reduce affordability and harm Oregon’s long-term housing goals. Instead, we need practical, bipartisan solutions that help Oregon meet its housing needs without discouraging housing investment.​
